Week two’s pick is a new podcast series from two of the forefront’s in the tech/gadget world Peter Rojas, founder of Engadget, and Ryan Block, the right hand man to Rojas at Engadget. Both have served as Editor-in-Chief of the much lauded gadget blog, but have since parted ways with the seminal blog to pursue other endeavors, including a new project and website, yet to be fully realized called simply (and in the same name as Rojas’ other main pursuit rcrdlbl) gdgt. The podcast brings back the same flare and well produced quality and insight as the old Engadget podcast back in the day. At about an hour’s length every week, Rojas and Block discuss what is currently hot news during the week with mild sprinkles of special editions, centered around one topic and with more individuals chiming in. The podcast is currently at the 6th iteration of what will be my weekly staple with one special round table edition.

Collection of April Fool’s jokes for today, they range from somewhat believable to totally outlandish:
- Go Back in Time with Gmail, have you ever wanted to write that email dated a week ago, well with Gmail you can do just that.
- Downloadsquad equates Apple to LSD.
- Here is another from the guys and gals over at Cerulean taking some time off coding the next Trillian, which has been amazing so far.
- Quite possibly one of my favorite, just go to Youtube and click on any of the top videos.
-
Woot has another “Wootoff”, if you were a bit impulsive, enjoy your batteries.
- For all you Blizzard fans, check out the Tauran Marine. How about the new Bard Class in WoW, which Rocks out a la Guitar Hero style to destroy its enemies.
- The most elaborate one yet.
- Richard Dawkins would be Happy to see this.
- I don’t think this is an April Fool’s joke, but it is hilarious.
- Another non-April Fool’s prank, but it’s Engadget sticking it to Deutsche TeleKom for this ridiculous claim to the color of magenta, that’s #ed008c, for all you HTML nerds.
- Here are two really good round ups from 1UP and another from Joystiq.
