After Graduation Thoughts

So graduation is fast approaching and I have to figure out what I am going to do with my life after graduation. Currently my plans are as follows:

Step 1: Graduate
Step 2: asdofjasoidjf;as
Step 3: …
Step 4: ?
Step 5: Figure out what to do with my life

So yeah, I am pretty confused at the moment. I have thought it over many times over, but still unsure with which path to take in life. I hope to figure this out soon, since I graduate in less than two months. Grrr…

The Quest for a New Notebook

No not a fivestar, but a laptop.

Alright, I have thought this through and I think it is time for an upgrade. I have had an ASUS W3V for about three years, the warranty is just about up and I will probably sell it to someone. Though I have had a few problems with it I am overall satisfied with it, especially with the support from ASUS, whom replaced the LCD screen, battery module as well as my battery, all within a two week span as well as paid for shipping back and forth. Well enough of the ASUS praise.

I have always wanted a tablet smaller size, 12.1″ notebook, since I always thought that the only low point for my W3V was the weight. It was just too heavy weighing in at 6+ lbs with the adapter and such. But having played a little game by the name of Team Fortress 2, it left me thirsting for a new notebook with a better video card, so I began my search (my current setup plays TF2 in middling settings at an average FPS of about 30).

My requirements are to be able to play TF2, as well as other games in higher settings, but also be very portable, meaning it has to be at or around 6 lbs or less, no more and a decent enough battery life.

Document, document, document!!!

So why have I decided to start another blog that may be doomed to the black hole of no reply? Well this one is mainly for people who need guidance on all this random. Have you ever had a problem with anything and searched for hours, maybe days, months even to never find the solution on the expanding hole that is the interwebs? I’m here to try to alleviate some of the problems that you may randomly have and well for my own documentation purposes. In this blog I plan to document every single problem, quip and query I have and the solution that I have come to find, since it may be annoyingly hard to try search for hours to then end up empty-handed. To all who stumble upon this, I hope it helps you.
